Mr. Anderson is a graduate from East Tennessee State University with a B.A. in an accredited Surveying and Mapping Science curriculum, prior to graduating from ETSU, Mr. Anderson completed his National Licensed Surveyor in Training exam earning him his L.S.I.T. certificate. Mr. Anderson is also a graduate from Wytheville Community College with an A.A.S. in Drafting and Design.

Since graduating, he has worked with several licensed surveyors, using several types of field and office equipment to take survey related projects from field to paper. Mr. Anderson has worked for Pillar Engineering and Surveying since August of 2004 as an active field survey operations leader. In this position Mr. Anderson has used education combined with in-field experience to complete a variety of projects which include single lot boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys used for a multitude of engineering projects, large parcel surveys, construction and utility layout, estate divisions etc. When not in the field Mr. Anderson attends meetings with potential clients, interviews with adjoining parties to projects to obtain parole evidence, performs needed research of deeds/municipal records to begin each project and drafts final project plats using field and record information collected. His equipment experience includes several models of Topcon Total Stations and Auto Levels, C & G, SMI and TDS data collectors, and Lieca RTK global positioning systems.

He is experienced with survey related software which includes Land Desktop, Carlson SurvCAD, SMI Plot and C&G Survey. To further his education Mr. Anderson is preparing to take is final examination for his State Survey License.
