CASSELL PINES APARTMENT COMPLEX Wytheville, Virginia

Pillar was subcontracted through JAG & Associates to perform the site design for the newest housing project undertaken by the Wytheville Redevelopment and Housing Authority. 18 new housing units are to be built on 1.7 acres in Wytheville. Because of site restraints, Low Impact Development and underground storage chambers are being used to control stormwater run-off while a segmented retaining wall helps control building pad elevations. Water modeling was a challenge due to existing system conditions. The Contractor utilized our surveying services during construction for stakeout purposes.
